Before coming :
All non-European nationals wishing to study in France must obtain a long stay visa bearing the word «student». Visa applications should be made to the French Consulate or Embassy in the student’s country of residence.
Within two months following their arrival in France, non-European students must apply for a temporary residence permit bearing the word "student".
The Paris Prefecture de Police has
an online facility to apply for a 'carte de séjour' (residence permit). This will enable
you to obtain a rendez-vous on their website.
